Highway Bus Terminals:

Domestic highway bus terminal for every direction is Main Bus Terminal Aung-Mingalar, 45 minute from downtown Yangon.

Local currency is called Kyat, cash is most convenient at everywhere.

Credit Cards:

are not widely accepted but with this credit card can withdraw the local currency (Kyat) at ATM machine.

Not familiar with people.

Fees:

Entrance fees /zone fees will be asked at destinations.

Souvenirs:

Generally it is a great bargain for tourists to buy precious jewelries, sculptures, lacquer-ware, handicrafts and tapestries. Your expensive souvenirs need an export permit on departure. But some license jewelry shops usually do.

Clothing:

Light and cotton wear, slippers are most comfortable. In winter might need light jacket and an umbrella for rainy season.

Accessories:

Sunglasses, hat, umbrella will be useful items.

Departure:

Antiques are not allowed for export.
